Introduction and Overview
Sitewards developed a powerful web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) backend along with a beautiful website to present the estates of BCI, a Spain-based property dealer.
The CRM solution is accompanied by various web software for management of properties and user rights.
Business Needs
BCI is a property broker based in Spain, that sells houses and developed properties to individuals and organisations in Germany, France, UK and Spain. It needed an effective multilingual website for its customers to be able to find primary information about the available houses and properties, while its customer service personnel (based at different office locations) could update this information and maintain a record of price, margin and interested customers.
Key Challenges
The assignment involved creation of a web-based interface for BCI sales personnel to be able to enter multilingual information about the properties. It also needed a simple system of maintaining customer data (CRM) with the prices quoted, margins allowed and further information about the hundreds of estates available.
Solutions(s)
Sitewards created a simple interface for the BCI sales, consisting of a powerful backend to support the various tasts they needed to perform. The sales personnel's interface shows all the available properties while allowing only a few of these to be presented online (for potential customers), in a well layed out format. The sales personnel can manage their contacts and quoted prices with the available margins for further negotiations.
Sitewards also built in a user-management interface so that BCI managers can restrict access to certain properties to specific sales personnel within the organisation.
This is one of the oldest websites (ca. 2000) which sported an on-load-image-change script, that changes the 'hot property' image on the main web-page, each time it is loaded or refreshed.
